Is there a way to Generate reports showing statuses across time.

I'm looking for this particular answer too, ie. how to query the database to extract defect status by date.

We have several custom report examples that show how you can display data (e.g. statuses) over time:

• Defect Re-Open/Bounceback Rate Report and Graph
• Report to identify number of days a defect is assigned to a status

You can use the flexible custom reporting capability to create your own, similar reports.
