The biggest new feature in Rapise 5.0 is the fact that you can now test Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM applications just as easily as other applications. Our customers have been crying out for years to us that they cannot reliably test Microsoft Dynamics, and that every single ERP update or patch deployment resulted in many man-hours of testing by manual testers. With Rapise 5.0, you can quickly and easily create Dynamics AX and/or CRM regression tests, so that every update to your ERP system can be tested in hours not days.
Integration with NeoLoad
With Rapise 5.0, you can now convert a functional test script from Rapise seamlessly into a load test and performance scenario. The converted load tests can then be executed directly against your applications and services using the powerful NeoLoad performance testing suite from our partner Neotys. In addition, with Rapise, you can perform a simultaneous UI test in Rapise whilst NeoLoad is load testing the backend. Rapise can then feed the performance metrics to NeoLoad to give you the complete picture of how responsive your application truly is to your users.
SOAP Web Services
Rapise already offers world-class REST web service testing, however Rapise 5.0 now includes a SOAP web service studio that lets you connect to your legacy SOAP web service endpoints, invoke test methods, inspect the XML SOAP packets, generate test scripts and verification points in a fraction of the time of other tools. When you combine the SOAP and REST API testing functionality with your user interface testing, you can now test how API calls affect the user interface and the reverse, radically improving the scope and breadth of your automated testing.
In addition to these major new features, we have enhanced the Rapise user interface to streamline common tasks and make it easier and quicker to record, write and execute tests. Incorporating powerful new functionality from NodeJS also offers testers more responsive error management and debugging tools to help identify the root cause of test failures.
