From Beta to General Availability
With the release of SpiraPlan 9.4, Strategic Outcomes and Portfolio Milestones are now generally available for production use.
- Strategic Outcomes give portfolio stakeholders a structured way to define major business goals, transformation objectives, mission outcomes, and enterprise priorities. These outcomes can be connected directly to Program Capabilities, creating traceability between organizational strategy and the work being delivered across programs.
- Portfolio Milestones provide a similar connection for planning and scheduling, allowing organizations to define major portfolio-level checkpoints, target dates, funding gates, executive reviews, and other important events and link them directly to Program Milestones.
Together, these capabilities create a connected planning hierarchy from portfolio strategy to programs, projects, and day-to-day delivery.
Connect Strategy and Execution in SpiraPlan
Portfolio-level planning gives organizations managing multiple programs, products, or strategic initiatives greater visibility into how their work supports broader business objectives.
With SpiraPlan 9.4, organizations can:
- Connect Strategic Outcomes to Program Capabilities
- Align Portfolio Milestones with Program Milestones
- Improve visibility across programs and initiatives
- Maintain traceability from enterprise strategy through delivery
- Bring portfolio planning and execution together in a single platform
The general availability of these capabilities in SpiraPlan 9.4 marks the next step in SpiraPlan’s evolution as an integrated platform for enterprise portfolio, program, and project management.
SpiraPlan 9.4 is available now. We look forward to seeing how customers use these new capabilities to bring strategy and execution closer together.
