We are pleased to announce that our SpiraPlan agile planning system has been added to TechnologyAdvice.com in the Project Management category.

SpiraPlan, by Inflectra, helps teams and organizations fed up with an inefficient software development lifecycle.

The SpiraPlan project management solution lets you take control of  your projects’ Agile development, and is totally adaptable to your unique processes and methodology; regardless of whether you use Scrum, Kanban, XP, or something else entirely, SpiraPlan can work for you.

Whether delivered via a cloud hosting provider or installed on your own server, SpiraPlan offers robust project and portfolio management functionality while maintaining a flexible interface. It integrates with a wide variety of tools, meaning it can be adapted to almost any existing development team or environment, and the tiered pricing structure allows you to implement the system for  minimal cost, especially when compared to similar hybrid or subscription-only solutions.

I have used SpiraPlan for several  years to help manage projects. It is a very stable and reliable piece of software. I find it great for managing tasks for staff working remote from the office. It took a bit of getting used to at first as there are several ways of setting up projects. However, once you get the hang of it and find the way it works for you, it’s great. I really like the import / export functions to Microsoft Project and Excel — very useful. Also the ability to set up your own custom fields gives it a lot of flexibility. I have used several other software products over the years, both good and not so good ones, and I would thoroughly recommend SpiraPlan. – Alan Bissett, Bearwood Consultants Ltd.

We recommend SpiraPlan to any organization looking for a flexible, Agile project management tool that supports multiple methodologies, but especially for software or web development firms managing remote teams.
