As we enter the final days of 2025, I am reminded of all the things that we are thankful for in 2025, our amazing, talented team, our loyal customers and our wonderful partners. In the spirit of giving back, I'd like to take this opportunity to talk about how we are different to other SaaS platforms, and how we put customer delight at the forefront of what we do.

So here are our 10 Gifts This Holiday Season....

1. Concurrent users

Unlike all of our competitors and most SaaS products, we use concurrent or floating licenses for all of our products. This means that you can deploy our platform to your entire organization and not get penalized for having occasional users. If you need business users to login and view dashboards, validate information or even run tests, you don't need to worry about purchasing additional licenses, we've got you covered.

2. Transparent pricing

We believe that there should be no "sticker shock" pricing surprises. All of our products, including our Inflectra.ai platform have 100% transparent pricing on our website. How many times have you looked at great product on a website only to be confronted with the dreaded "Contact Sales" message when you try and understand what it will cost you. None of that at Inflectra!

3. Inflectra.ai separate vs.forced bundling

A lot of vendors are making their AI functionality a mandatory purchase regardless of whether you want to use it, or are even allowed to use it! Not at Inflectra! When we launched Inflectra.ai in early 2025 we deliberately made it an add-on to our existing platform. That way you get to try it out before you purchase and can even validate that it will deliver tangible business value! The great thing is, over 20% of our cloud customers have already purchased Inflectra.ai, meaning that they have seen the value and the ROI vs. it being forced on them.

4. Have it your way (on-prem, cloud)

We think the cloud is amazing, it allows organizations to delivery software faster and with less expensive, fixed infrastructure. It allows companies to focus on delivering value instead of managing servers and networks. For this reason, we've partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to be our exclusive cloud provider, delivering unbelievable performance, world-class AI and support for data sovereignty and compliance. That being said, the cloud is not for everyone, and unlike many other competitors such as Atlassian, we're not forcing you to make that choice. Our platforms run both in the Inflectra Cloud and On-Premise. Guaranteed.

5. Inflectra.ai or BYO LLM

We launched Inflectra.ai in early 2025 to give customers the easiest, simplest possible way to take advantage of generative and agentic AI in their software delivery lifecycle. With a simple, flat-rate subscription, you can activate AI functionality in both our Spira platform and in our Rapise automated testing product. However in line with our mantra of customer delight, we also let you "bring your own LLM" and have AI functionality in both products as well.

6. Invoice in your currency

We work with customers in many different countries around the world. When we first launched the company, we could only generate quotes and invoices in US Dollars (USD) and only had a US Bank Account. Based on feedback from prospects and customers we realized that we could make it so much easier for organizations such as local Governments and non-profits as well as other customers to purchase from us if we could support other currencies and bank accounts. Therefore in 2023 we upgraded our ERP systems to handle multiple currencies including: USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, AUD, and NZD. Now we can invoice you in your currency, and provide a local bank account as well. Just another way we can simplify the purchasing process.

In 2024 we published all of our products on the AWS Marketplace, which opens the door for streamlined purchasing in even more countries and currencies.

7. Support for air-gapped environment

Not all environments are connected to the Internet. In this age of cyber attacks and security risks, many high-assurance organizations as well as national security agencies need to run their workloads on air-gapped, high-security networks. Inflectra's on-premise products can all run 100% air-gapped, with no telemetry or other need to contact home. This allows our products to be used to ensure the quality and safety of the most trusted organizations.

8. Unlimited everything (storage, projects, artifacts)

We often get asked by prospective customers about what limits we have in products: the number of projects, number of items, attachment storage, geographical limits, or rate limiting of APIs. At Inflectra, we provide you "unlimited everything" as much as possible, with no limit on the number of named users, products/projects, attachments, cloud-storage and even API calls. Now of course we have DDoS protections in place to prevent attacks on our systems, but subject to those cyber-limits, you can use our products as much as possible!

9. No charging for formerly free features (in fact the opposite)

There has been a trend on the Internet of Enshitification, where formerly great products decline over time to maximize profits. At Inflectra we believe the opposite is true, over time you need to constantly improve your products and offerings to keep your customers happy. As an example, the Risks module was originally only available in our SpiraPlan edition, but as we added more program and portfolio management functionality to SpiraPlan, we decided that we would enable Risks in our SpiraTeam edition as well, as we knew it was an important feature for ensuring customers delivered high quality software every release. Similarly, Document Management was originally not available in SpiraTest, but as we built out SpiraTeam and SpiraPlan, we decided to also enable Document Management in SpiraTest as well.

10. Helping you succeed vs. selling you a tool

Finally, if you have every spoken to a member of our "sales" team, whether that is exploring our platform as a new customer, discussing options for renewal, or looking to add additional products to your subscription, you will always find that our team is not a sales team at all. We don't sell products, the products are designed to sell themselves by delivering value to customers. Our team is there to help you discover the products, and act as a guide to help you succeed.
