We have just returned from an incredible week at the Dubai World Trade Centre for the 45th edition of GITEX Global 2025. The energy was astounding, and the theme this year went beyond simply imagining AI—it was focused entirely on its real-world application. This shift brings a critical, complex challenge to the forefront: ensuring quality, compliance, and testability in an AI-driven world.
It was a privilege to be at the heart of these conversations, anchoring the Inflectra booth alongside CEO Adam Sandman and Head of Global Sales Rick Baucom. Read on for the full recap.

Inflectra at the Heart of the Action
Our booth was a hub for leaders grappling with one central question: "How do we manage all this?" As companies rush to integrate AI, the conversations at GITEX have pivoted from "if" to "how,” and the "how" is where Inflectra shines.
Adam, Rick, and I spent the week demoing how our integrated platform provides the control and visibility necessary for this new era. Here were the top points of interest:
-
Testing the "Untestable": We showed how Rapise uses its AI-powered capabilities to test the dynamic, and often unpredictable, UIs of AI-driven applications. Standard automation breaks, but Rapise's intelligent, self-healing scripts can keep pace.
-
AI Compliance & Audibility: We demonstrated how SpiraPlan provides end-to-end traceability—from the initial requirement, through the model's development, to the final test case and defect. When a regulator asks, "How did your AI make this decision?" or "How did you validate this model?", our customers can provide a complete audit trail. This is no longer a "nice-to-have"; it's essential for compliance.
-
Managing the AI Lifecycle: We're not just testing. We showed how the Spira platform manages the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Model Development Lifecycle (MDLC) in one place. This unified approach to Quality Engineering and Agile Program Management is critical for organizations that need to scale their AI initiatives without sacrificing quality or control.
And, of course, our legendary Inflectra swag was a hit—our signature pens are now in the hands of some of the top tech leaders in the region!
Key Themes & Conversations from the Show Floor
Beyond our booth, the show floor buzzed with themes that hit at the core of what we do.
-
Applied AI Demands a New QA Paradigm: The "black box" nature of AI is a nightmare for traditional QA. We spoke with dozens of QA managers who are struggling to validate systems that learn and change. This confirmed our mission: providing tools that manage risk, traceability, and test coverage for complex systems, whether they're predictive models or embedded AI features.
-
Sovereign Intelligence is a Compliance Mandate: This was the biggest takeaway. The demand for data sovereignty isn't just about security; it's about compliance. Leaders from banking, government, and healthcare were explicit: they need to deploy AI, but they cannot have their sensitive data leaving their jurisdiction. Our long-standing commitment to offering robust on-premise and private cloud solutions was a massive differentiator. It means our customers don't have to choose between innovation and compliance.
-
The Talent-Tech Equation: We met so many brilliant developers and testers from across the Middle East and Africa. The region is a hotbed of talent. But talent alone can't scale. They need platforms that centralize collaboration, automate grunt work, and provide a single source of truth. Empowering these teams with the right tools is how the region's digital transformation will be successfully and safely delivered.
Forging Global Connections
For me, the highlight is always reconnecting with our global family. It was a pleasure to meet with our fantastic partners from across the EMEA region to strategize for 2026. We also had the chance to meet face-to-face with several of our key customers based in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, gathering invaluable feedback on their compliance and testing challenges.
A huge thank you to Adam Sandman and Rick Baucom for their incredible work. Their deep knowledge and high-level conversations were instrumental in making this event such a success.
What's Next?
Returning from GITEX always leaves me energized. The future is being built now, and it's clearer than ever that quality, testability, and auditable compliance are the essential foundations for the AI-driven digital economy.
We're already following up on the amazing connections we made and are excited to bring the insights from GITEX 2025 into our product roadmap.
A massive thank you to the GITEX Global organizers, our partners, our customers, and everyone who stopped by the Inflectra booth to talk about the future of quality. We can't wait to see you next year!
