Spira Product Roadmap
During 2022 we released many new features and updates to our SpiraTest, SpiraTeam, and SpiraPlan platforms, including our new SpiraApps plugin architecture, integration with popular CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub, enhanced FMEA risk management, product-level custom properties, completely revamped text editor, and inline artifact editing on the Gantt charts and agile boards. For 2023, we have many exciting features on the roadmap, including world-class support for the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), enhancements to the risk management functionality to support risk-based testing and risk coverage, and completely revamped agile boards. We will have more information on these new features in early 2023.
Rapise Roadmap
During 2022 we released major updates to our Rapise test and process automation system, including support for 64-bit .NET and Java Swing applications, support for Salesforce Shadow DOM, the popular AG Grid, enhancements to our Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle ERP, and Salesforce support as well as many quality of life enhancements. For 2023 we plan on adding new functionality to improve the handling of testing complex web applications that use the new Shadow DOM and Web Components features, support for testing ServiceNow and SAP GUI, as well as user-suggested enhancements.
KronoDesk Product Roadmap
During 2022 we released a new update - KronoDesk 4.0 that included a compendium of enhancements and bug fixes requested by our users. In 2023 we will be releasing KronoDesk 4.1, which will have some major usability enhancements as well as support for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Subscription and Pricing Changes
Cloud and On-Premise Forever
Before we get into what is changing, we'd first like to take this opportunity to let you know what is staying the same. At Inflectra, we value customer choice, and we believe that customers of all sizes and in all industries should have the choice of having their software cloud-hosted or installed locally. Unlike other companies in our industry, we maintain 100% compatibility between the cloud and on-premise versions of SpiraTest, SpiraTeam, SpiraPlan, and KronoDesk. In addition, our unique use of concurrent user licensing also remains the same going forward. Further building on this, we released floating licenses for Rapise at the start of 2022.
Cloud Subscriptions
For our cloud customers, there are some small pricing adjustments effective January 1st, 2023, however, the core pricing model of concurrent pricing and the choice of monthly (billed to a credit card) and annual (pre-paid) subscriptions remains the same:

What About Rapise and RemoteLaunch?
We are not making price changes to either Rapise or RemoteLaunch in 2023.
Can I Lock in My Current Pricing?
Yes, absolutely, you can renew your subscriptions early (i.e. before December 31st, 2022) and get the 2022 prices, even if they will be expiring in 2023. In addition, for additional savings, please contact our sales team about a multi-year purchase, which will not only lock in the current price but, depending on the length, give you access to additional discounts as well!
What About Legacy Customers and Perpetual Pricing?
If you are a long-term legacy customer and have special legacy pricing, these prices do not apply to you, but the price changes will be similar on a percentage basis. Please contact our sales team if you have any questions.
If you are looking to purchase a perpetual on-premise license of SpiraTest, SpiraTeam, SpiraPlan or KronoDesk, those are still available, please contact our sales team for a custom quote.
What About Unexpired Existing Quotes?
Of course, if you already have an unexpired quote, we will honor it 100%. If your price quote is expiring soon, we recommend you contact our sales team to place the order ASAP.
